The lovingly dubbed [b00bs]-Victorias secret squad won TS Division 1 of Urban Zone in their first attempt. Most players on the team are / were rather unknown to the scene so I'll share some stories / insight about them. For the hasty readers - just check the good and bad news at the end for a quick summary.
The Team
[b00bs]Am!sh - The Portuguese Aimbot Am!sh is best described by some comments from his favourite server the Euro Uptown CTF: "Now we are going to witness one of the insane Am!sh shows again". In numbers that may mean: "I just hit 40% accuracy in this 25 minute round" (Euro Uptwon CTF wtf?) or "Now I know why my game was all funny - my monitor cable wasnt plugged in completely" (he just posted some 20 to 1 score in a pcw). Stuff like that just makes you spill your soda as a decent player.
[b00bs]Dan - The Indian Jumpster
When you watch him play you know exactly how he is on Teamspeak. There is rarely guys that are that lively, funny and all around motivating to hang out with for whole nights. His SR8 is his strong suit, especially when he can combine it with his quick jumping. He doesnt need to camp with it, but what most people dont realize that he has played more matches for [b00bs] than anybody else. Easily more than 300 official matches with for same team.
[b00bs]Dr.Spaceman - The American Sentrygun
And when I say sentrygun it means the fastest motherf***ing pistol spam that I have seen on any server. It doesn't mean that he is immobile by any means, Dr.Spaceman can jump Uptown as good as anybody. He is in the zone when he takes DE primary and just uses his M4 as backup to finish some kills. You'll find plenty that will testify to him going perfect square (64 for 8 ) on the Uptown TS servers.
[b00bs]duhfysa - The Croatian Kid
Probably everyone has already been the target of duhfysas comments and or rage. He just has the time to be one of the better players in this game, so most of the time he can back his attitude up. Killing 4 out of 5 ASN players in laundro is just a tiny example of what he is actually capable when he is focused. His ingame creativity surprises opponents and teammates likewise. And when duhfysa doesnt try to be extra smart he is actually a good kid.
[b00bs]JediMind - The British Tactician
Jedimind has been around forever. He'll always come up with a tactic for a match. Even prepare some commented demo for the team to watch if there is no time to practice. Jedi was the first one to say that the team would win Division 1 TS and his Jedi-mind didn't disappoint. SR8, Auto or nades doesn't matter. Jedi will pick what is needed to get the job done. And even if he is a bit more conservative in his movement he is nevertheless a strong shooter.
[b00bs]solitary - The Canadian WMD
If there is someone to lecture people on the G36 in game it is soli. With this scope around you dont need SR8's that hold back. On a bad day he will just outscore the opponent. On a good day he will post 40+ kills per map, no matter the map or the tactics or even a slightly different style that is being played. Apparently he was born to clutch rounds and to make him even more important for a team he will focus people on the important stuff. We are very GlaD to have him with us, just not enough >:-|.
[b00bs]The-spiki - The Macedonian Matchmaker
It never gets boring when The-spiki is around. He'll always organise the next PCW, set the matches, improve the servers, read the forums, fix the team or help out in some league. And when thats not happening he'll get the team ready for the next match and play himself if he needs to. And if he gets the team some extra awards we are always very delighted and enjoy these with him.
Guns for hire
[b00bs]nikes - The Slovakian Knight
He hits like people calling tech support in Bangalore. And when he doesnt cross swords in some fancy cottage he pisses on your helmet while checking the shit out. Ask him yourself when he is back. And I am sure he will be back.
[b00bs]Qant - The German Wayne
Bruce or John - thats your choice. He fly Uptown like Batman or duel you mano a mano on Turnpike.
[b00bs]SubZ - The British Fortress
Capture a flag against him on Uptown. Really - try it. You'll get it when his connection drops, which sadly happens far too often.
So here is the good news and the bad news for you.
Bad news: This was not the limit of what this team is capable of.
Good news: Next season is still far away.
